Bobby left today at 12-something-o'-clock. I took him to the airport a bit early. He got home fine. But Mandy is leaving tomorrow, Saturday for Mexico (Woo! spring break). So I'm all alone, for a week, at least. I should at least get a lot done in the lab… Which I have to do anyway. I'm going to miss her lots. Partly because she's the only person I hang out with in colorado. I'm such a lonely person.
The funny thing is, mandy comes back on the 27th, and Al and Sam come in that day too. Then I leave on the 28th. Just one big travel menagerie. Hopefully we all get to play some scrizzle (urban version of scrabble).
Bobby and I rented a few movies, one of which was
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Tim Burton version. I liked it. Shut it, naysayers. We also got
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and
Wedding Crashers. I think I liked "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" most of the three. Second is the Tim Burton film. I really like Charlie Kaufman. Bobby apparently doesn't, due to his reaction to
Being John Malkovich.
East of Eden currently, and she's hooked. Can't put it down. But that's the way she reads any book, but we've talked about it a little, and she really likes it. I really like having someone to talk to about the book. I need to go to bed. Good night, world.
