I had pho today. Nice stuff. I got take-out for mandy and I. I opted for the ribeye. I got her the flank steak. When I got it home, I opened it up and put the deliciously red meat into the steaming hot soup, stirred it up and watched it cook. Delicious. Add the lime, bean sprouts, veggies, noodles, hoisin and rooster sauce and it's a filling and rewarding experience. I ate all mine. Mandy couldn't finish it. Maybe I should've gotten her the small instead of the medium size, but she has lunch for tomorrow now. I kept prodding her to "put in the lime!" or "put in the hoisin!" Yeah, it's like that.
On a completely different note, I really like my amp. It's very revealing of the details in music. Perhaps it's a bit too revealing, shining the bright light of crappy sound on poorly recorded material. But it's very clear. I think some day I'll replace the inductors with some nice toroids, but for now it's fine.
It's hard to listen to the music now, and not the way the amp sounds, because I want to be critical of the amp to find flaws in my building it. But perhaps I should just forget that I built it, and listen to the damn music. Violins soar on this amp. Like I said before, I like it.
Bobby- this one's for you
So I think that undergrad purdue iv should… I'm sorry, bobby, I can't do it. It's too wretched.
If you knew my thoughts you would stone me on the spot. Thank god for my shut mouth.
